Description

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Warranty Specialist to join our Engineering Purchasing Team of Europe’s largest airline group.

This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within in the next 10 years. 

Working proactively in a fast-paced environment and reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all warranty remedies are pursued. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate, with an engineering qualification to build their career in Europe’s leading airline. Our Materials & Purchasing team is responsible for the Repair, Purchasing and Warranty control of all parts and aircraft systems for our growing fleet of Boeing 737’s and Airbus A320 aircraft.

 

Your duties will include:

  • The Control of Warranty issues within the Ryanair fleet.
  • Engaging with Boeing & Vendors in relation to Warranty on our MAX fleet.
  • Reporting repetitive or unusual failures and emerging issues as found during warranty reviews to the relevant Engineering Departments.
  • Supporting the implementation of Modification programs.
  • Liaising with Vendors on Technical and Commercial issues relating to Warranty.
  • Liaising with Engineering and Technical Services on Warranty matters.
  • Ensuring that all Warranty Remedies are Claimed.
  • Support our Maintenance Control Operation as required.
  • Assisting in controlling our costs.

Requirements

  • A suitable Engineering degree qualification.
  • A willingness to develop a career in Ryanair
  • Be an effective communicator
  • The ability to work on own initiative
  • A mature sense of judgement
  • Be organised and have the ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver results to tight timelines
  • The ability to negotiate
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge Word, Excel
