Kaunas Aircraft Maintenance Services (KAMS) is growing and actively looking for new team members! We are looking for a Trainee Workshop Mechanic to work in the Composite Workshop, inspecting and repairing components made from fiberglass, carbon fiber, aramid fiber, or bonded aluminum, primarily components composed of laminated plies or sandwich structures. Position based in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Description

✈Assisting mechanics, lead mechanics, and supervisors in daily aircraft inspections;

✈Repairing and inspecting aircraft components made of fiberglass, carbon fiber, or aramid fiber;

✈Searching for and implementing the best solutions;

✈Various other hangar duties;

✈Inspection of components before and after repair.

✈Working with computer programs: AMOS, MyBoeingFleet, MS Office.

✈Shift work schedule: 5/3 from 07:00 to 19:00.

Requirements

✈ A flexible approach to work in a rapidly changing environment;

✈ Initiative, positive attitude, ability to work both independently and in a team;

✈ Attention to detail, diligence;

✈ Strong organizational/time management skills;

✈ Good English language skills (both written and spoken);

✈ Experience in aviation/mechanics or related studies is an advantage.

Salary: 1,700€ – 3,700€/month (gross / before taxes). The salary increases according to a structured qualification upgrade program presented during the interview.
