Description

Kaunas Aircraft Maintenance Services, or simply called KAMS, is one of Ryanair’s technical support bases in Europe, located at Kaunas airport, Lithuania. Our daily task is to perform technical maintenance and repair for 4 Boeing 737-800 aircraft which are serviced simultaneously in our 4 hangars . KAMS goal is to provide highest level of services and ensure Ryanair passengers fly safely.

Ryanair is Europe’s favourite low fares airline, operating more than 3,300 daily flights from over 90 bases, connecting 230 destinations in over 37 countries and operating a fleet of over 570 Boeing 737 aircraft.

Position based in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Start date of paid training: 5th of August, 2024.

As a Trainee Mechanic you will be:

✈ Assisting aircraft mechanics, lead mechanics and engineers in daily aircraft repair.

✈ Ensuring all jobs are done in time and in accordance with requirements.

✈ Ensuring all training is done in time.

✈ Other hangar duties.

Requirements

✈ Flexible approach to working in a fast changing environment.

✈ Proactive, positive approach, ability to work on own initiative and in a team.

✈ Attention to detail, hard working.

✈ Strong organizational/time management skills.

✈ Studies related to aircraft maintenance/engineering – an advantage.

✈ Experience in technical/mechanical jobs – an advantage.

✈ Willing to work shifts 07:00 – 19:00 and 19:00 – 07:00.

✈ Good English skills (both written and oral).

The Trainee Aircraft mechanic programme is open to all. It provides candidates with the opportunity to upskill and pursue a career as a licensed Aircraft Engineer earning up to 67K EUR (Gross) per year.
