Long Description

Malta Air, part of Ryanair Group is currently recruiting for a Safety Management Trainee to join Europe’s largest airline group. 

This is an excellent time to join Ryanair Group as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300 guests within the next 10 years.

The successful candidate will be based in Malta Air’s HQ in Pieta, Malta and will support the entire safety function for a period of 18 months. 

Duties will include:

  • Assist the Department Manager or Deputy with departmental activities and the preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
  • Records keeping and maintenance
  • Refer to EASA and local Regulations to ensure the organisation complies with all applicable requirements.
  • Consultation of the EASA and TM CAD website
  • Participate in Safety Risk Assessments
  • Review and process Safety Reports
  • Assist the Department Manager or Deputy with the investigation of non-compliances
  • Basic auditing activities

Short Description

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Engineering Degree advantageous but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Internet Explorer)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel competences advantageous but not essential
  • Fluency in English written and verbal is required.
