Ryanair Labs is the technology brand of Ryanair, a start-up inside a corporation and a state of-the-art digital & IT innovation hub creating Europe’s Leading Travel Experience for customers. More than 600 IT enthusiasts are working on unique projects transforming aviation for Pilots, Cabin Crew and Ground Operations, as well as driving the tech experience for our customers. The Role

As a Product Owner you will work closely with business owners from discovery to implementation of new internal systems driving Ryanair’s strategic vision. As part of an agile development team you will play a key role in defining and shaping projects and approaches to delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals to work in a fast-paced operations focused environment driving the development of new products to further increase Ryanair’s industry leading efficiency and enhance employee experience while meeting Ryanair’s plan to grow to 300M Pax per annum by 2034.


  • Research industry leading initiatives and key market drivers
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate strategic initiatives into project roadmaps.
  • Work with business analysts to develop and prioritise product backlog and work as part of agile development team to deliver new products.
  • Work closely with scrum masters to ensure features are managed in a manner that ensures agile best practices are maintained.


  • Strong experience of Process Design and Business Analysis
  • Experience of market research and trend analysis.
  • At least 3 years of project roadmap creation or developing requirements and creating user stories
  • Experience of working in agile teams, responsive to changing business priorities
  • Experience of working with major logistical operations teams or travel industry an advantage
  • Strong Communicating and Influencing skills
  • Experience of Stakeholder Management
  • Strong motivated self starter with a desire to progress their career as part of our ambitious growth strategy.
