Ryanair is currently hiring a PR & Comms Executive to join our best-in-class Communications Team.
PR & Comms Executive is a dynamic role filled with both challenge and opportunity. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in bringing Ryanair’s communications strategy to fruition, from managing press events throughout Europe, executing exciting PR campaigns, keeping the business abreast of fast-moving news cycles, and performing daily press office duties.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Europe’s largest airline Group, as we continue to grow to 800 aircraft and 300 million passengers by 2034. Interested candidates should have a ‘can-do’ attitude, exceptional attention-to-detail, be able to think critically on the spot, and use your own initiative, as well as having a genuine interest in news and current affairs.
Reporting to the PR & Communications Manager, this role is based at our Dublin HQ, and will require you to work closely with senior management
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Ryanair’s PR/communications plans across Europe, ensuring alignment with key business objectives.
- Coordinate press events, interviews and briefing packs for senior business representatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and stories for external communications.
- Prepare press releases, presentations, and other press materials, ensuring an on-time and error-free delivery.
- Monitor media coverage to assess campaign performances and identify potential PR opportunities/risks.
- Ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
- 2+ years in communications, public relations, and marketing (in-house or agency).
- Knowledge of the aviation and/or travel industry is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with confidence in presenting ideas.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in an agile, fast-paced setting.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a plus
