Ryanair Engineering delivered by SIAM (Spanish International Aircraft Maintenance) have a Planning Engineer position to join our Heavy Maintenance team in Seville. SIAM provides heavy maintenance services to the Ryanair fleet. Ryanair is Europe’s favourite low fares airline, operating more than 1,600 daily flights (over 500,000 per year) from 68 bases, across 1,600 low fare routes, connecting 186 destinations in 30 countries and on a fleet of over 520 modern Boeing 737NG , Boeing 737-8200 Game Changer and Airbus A320 aircraft and will continue to expand by more than 200 aircraft by 2025.
The successful candidate will be working and gaining experience in Aircraft Heavy Maintenance Production Planning in co-operation with our client airline Ryanair. If you have the energy and commitment to join our dynamic organisation, then we want to hear from you.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
– Communicate with the Base Maintenance Manager to create a roster, which allocates the workforce between the bays in a way that ensures the manpower requirements for each check are met.
-Assist with planning and monitoring aircraft maintenance events.
-Assist with planning heavy maintenance projects
– Monitor and update efficiency metrics based on allocation of manpower and work performed.
-Organise flights, hotels and accommodation for travelling/visiting work teams
Requirements
– The ideal person will be highly organised and analytical.
– Have experience in planning work teams.
– Good command of Microsoft Excel – High level of English
– The ability to adapt to change quickly with a can do attitude
– Ability to plan and work to deadlines and on own initiative
