Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Pilot Production Manager to join Europe’s largest airline group.

The successful candidate will work as part of our Flight Operations Department based in our global Head Office in Airside Business Park in Swords, Dublin

This role is suitable for a candidate with a background in supply chain or logistics as it focuses on effectively utilising resources to maximise operational efficiency.

Duties include but not limited to

  • Overseeing the medium- and long-term strategic planning of optimal pilot headcount and training resources (LTCs, LCCs, TREs, SFIs, TRIs etc.)
  • Monitoring of all stages of the pilot production line from initial Ground School to Line Check to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity is achieved.
  • Daily insights and analysis of production line performance / delays, training resource utilisation, and reporting to senior management on same
  • Act as point of contact for Ryanair partner flight schools
  • Analysis of pilot rosters & driving efficiencies with the Ops Control Centre
  • Project management of IT developments and reporting tools
  • Cost control and contract management for Flight Operations
  • Working closely with Pilot Recruitment, Pilot Training, Pilot Rostering, FOPs Base Management and Command Upgrade function to deliver on agreed targets within agreed timelines
     

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and Smartsheets
  • Experience in headcount management
  • Knowledge of rostering and experience in analytics
  • Proven track record in delivery with a demonstrated ability in managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work across teams to deliver shared goals
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry
