AES Ltd the Engineering Delivery Partner for Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Materials Standards Officer for our operation at Stansted.

 

Description

Reporting to the Materials Standards & Dangerous Goods Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting all Group Stores locations to ensure consistent Materials standards and best practices are maintained across the network.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for Goods Receiving, Certification Review, Component Inspection and PAC Authorisation requirements.
  • Delivering training and development programmes for PAC Holders, PAC Inspectors and Materials personnel across all locations.
  • Conducting competency assessments and authorisation reviews in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing on-site guidance and support to local Stores teams to ensure full compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Promoting standardisation of processes and procedures across all Group Stores locations.
  • Monitoring compliance with Materials procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting local management teams with Materials-related operational and compliance issues.
  • Assisting with investigations, corrective actions and process improvement initiatives as required.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of Materials training programmes and competency frameworks.
  • Travelling regularly throughout the Ryanair network to support operational requirements.
  • Accomplish other such duties as may be reasonably directed by Management.

Requirements

Requirements

  • • Extensive experience within an Aviation Materials or Stores environment.
    • Previous experience as a PAC Holder and/or PAC Inspector is essential.
    • Strong understanding of Goods Receiving, Certification Review and Component Inspection.
    • An understanding of EASA Part 145 and Continuing Airworthiness requirements.
    • Experience delivering training and conducting competency assessments would be advantageous.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to work on own initiative and manage multiple priorities.
    • Be highly organised and capable of working in a fast-paced operational environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance standards.
    • Proven computer skills and be an effective communicator.
    • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Ryanair network.
