Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

Malta Air Limited is part of the Ryanair Group, operating over 170 aircraft, is looking to grow its Malta-based finance team with the recruitment of a Management Accountant to be based at its offices in Pieta.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop his/her career in an airline part of a large international group whereby one would gain valuable experience from working closely with various teams across Ryanair Group’s finance function and the other airlines that form part of Ryanair Group’s operations.
Duties:
Preparation of management accounts and group reporting packs on a monthly basis in a timely manner.
Participate in monthly variance analysis against budgets in a manner that facilitates management decision making and drives improvement as well as cost savings.
Support the delivery of KPIs and forward-looking projections to the Group on an ongoing basis.
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Liaising with internal and external auditors.
Assist in the preparation of entity-level yearly budgets.
SOX controls and compliance.
Working closely with the Group’s Dublin-based finance team and local Maltese based management to provide assistance and support in other areas, as required.
Ad-hoc projects and duties.
Requirements
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent), with at least 2-3 years PQE.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative, strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills.
Familiarity with SAP is an advantage and strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Fluency in English is necessary for this position
