DM Aircraft Maintenance are the dedicated engineering maintenance provider based in Vienna, Austria providing comprehensive maintenance on the Lauda Europe A320 and Ryanair B737 fleet of aircraft.
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to join our highly skilled engineering team. The Maintenance Planner will work as part of a team responsible for planning scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the Lauda Europe and Ryanair fleet of aircraft.
The successful candidate will work with our dedicated team of engineering professionals in Vienna.
This is a permanent role.
The Role & Responsibilities:
· Responsible for maintenance planning support and deferred defect planning
· AC base change and liaising with Duty Fleet Planner for required aircraft base swaps
· Short term / line maintenance planning to include fleetwide modifications, engineering orders, airworthiness directives etc.
· Liaising with Station Engineers in bases around Europe & the UK
· Winter maintenance programme planning
· Work package creation and management
· Hangar maintenance planning to include the coordination of A Checks
· Project planning / data analysis
· Any other duties as requested by your Manager
Requirements
· Must have a degree (or similar) in aviation or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the aviation industry
· Previous planning experience is an advantage
· Good English (written and spoken) and computer skills (MS Office – Excel essential)
· AMOS knowledge an advantage
· Good communication and organisation skills
· A team player with the ability to use initiative and work independently as required
· A flexible approach to working in a fast-paced, changing environment
· Must be willing to work shifts, including weekends
