Description

The Role

The role of the Junior Product Owner is to understand and drive the Ryanair product development. You will be tasked with working with IT and multiple stakeholders across the business in order to gather and document project requirements and to assist in the development process of Ryanair.com. This permanent position sits within our Product and Design team in Ryanair’s Lab based in Madrid.

 

Responsibilities

  • Meet and work directly with product managers and designers to define project requirements.

  • Collect and analyse business needs and translate into clear requirements for the development teams.

  • Translate high-level business requirements into robust functional specifications that are supported by user story boards/user cases.

  • Work closely with the product team on priorities and scenarios to deliver.

  • Work closely with Scrum Masters and Dev teams on priorities and delivery plan.

  • Manage and control change requests in relation to existing project plans and maintain product backlog.

Requirements

  • Understand web and app friendly concepts and products
  • Interest and appetite for product development
  • Excellent document writing and detailed process understanding
  • Communicating and Influencing
  • Experience of working with Product teams and UX/UI designers an advantage
  • 1/2 years of writing requirements documents and other software development materials is an advantage
