Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Head of Ground Operations – Compliance to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group.
The Head of Ground Operations – Compliance is an important role within the company and is responsible for continued regulatory compliance for our Ground Operations function (Front of House & Ramp) around the network. The successful candidate will assume the role of ‘Nominated Person Ground Operations’
Reporting to the Director of Ground Operations, this person will be responsible for Ryanair Ground Operations compliance with the applicable EU regulations and compliance of functions carried out by our internal Ground Operations team of over 500 employed staff and relationships with 3rd Party Handling Agencies to deliver the most efficient airline operations in Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and overseeing the regulatory & compliance for: Ground Operations organisation across 95 European bases and over 250 airports
Ensuring Ryanair’s continued excellent safety record
Ensuring Ryanair’s compliance with EU Regulations
Maintaining Ryanair’s industry leading punctuality
Ensuring the people resources and facilities are in place to allow the airline grow..
Requirements
Strong leadership and communication skills
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a GOPs or previous experience as a ‘Nominated Person’
Able to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills.
Proven track record as a senior manager in an operations function
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Have the flexibility to travel across Europe, at least once per week
