Description

Ryanair, Europe’s Largest Airline Group, is currently recruiting for a Fleet Materials Specialist to join our team in Dublin. Expanding to 300m passengers, and 800 Aircraft by 2034, our Fleet Specialist will be vital in helping us achieve this goal. 

Reporting to the AOG Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for:
•    Managing and developing our A320 spares inventory to support all operational requirements across all Ryanair group Bases.
•    Act as a focal point while supporting our A320 Operation on all Materials issues 
•    Assist with the management of contracts relating to A320 third party material suppliers and ensure that contractual obligations are adhered to from all parties 
•    Monitoring of open defects on the Airbus fleet and ensure all materials shortages are actioned as quickly and efficiently as possible
•    Controlling the repair cycle of all our parts to ensure parts are efficiently managed.
•    Working with suppliers on Repair pricing and support.
•    Supporting all Group Stores in our Network to ensure the smooth running of our Operation.
•    Ensuring that all Materials related regulatory requirements are complied with.
•    Monitoring spare part movements to ensure that robberies, loans and exchanges are completed correctly and that costs are kept to a minimum.
•    Monitoring of open defects on the Airbus fleet and ensure all materials shortages are actioned as quickly and efficiently as possible 
•    Working with all Engineering departments to ensure that results are achieved to our queries
•    Accomplish other such duties as may be reasonably directed by Management.
 

Requirements

•    Experience in a similar role preferable.
•    An understanding of EASA part 145 and Part M requirements.
•    Experience in negotiating at a senior level.
•    Excellent numerical ability and contract experience.
•    The ability to work on own initiative.
•    A mature sense of judgement.
•    Be highly organised and have the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks in a highly pressurised environment.
•    Proven computer skills and be an effective communicator.
•    A sound knowledge of computer systems.
