Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Deputy General Manager to come onboard at the early stage of our Engine MRO projects.
This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 8 years.
The successful candidate will be initially based in Ryanair’s Engineering HQ in DUBLIN before reverting to the Enginer MRO facility once operational. They will be part of a key team responsible for Ryanair’s our first ever Engine Shop – a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility that will overhaul and test 200+ CFM56 & LEAP-1B engines annually.
Supporting the Head of Engine MRO and General Manager, the candidate will lead this engine shop from the ground up and to
- Build and lead a brand-new team
- Shape the processes and culture of a flagship facility
- Drive innovation in engine MRO with Europe’s largest airline
The Day to Day of Role:
- Oversight of scheduled and ad-hoc maintennce, repair and cleaning of 200+ engines each year with a view to efficency and remaining on budget
- Drive a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement as part of core management team
- Utilise new technology to establish processes to ensure performance and reliability
- Review and support the procurement of parts, tooling and suppliers.
- Ensure the highlest level of regulatory, company and OEM compliance
- Responsible for manpower planning, recruitment oversight and forecasting for all MRO staffing.
- Ad-hoc duties relating to development of MRO
Requirements
- 2-3 years Engine MRO experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong people and project managment skills
- Passion for safety, quality, and efficiency
- A proven ability to deliver results at scale
- Unrestricted right to live and travel freely throughout Europe.
