Ryanair is recruiting for a Deputy Director of Technical Services to join the Engineering team of Europe’s largest airline.
Based at our Engineering HQ in Dublin and reporting to the Director of Engineering, this is a senior leadership role responsible for the safety, compliance, airworthiness, reliability, and technical performance of the Ryanair fleet.
Supporting a fleet of more than 650 aircraft operating over 3,900 daily flights, you will lead the Technical Services organisation and play a key role in supporting Ryanair’s growth to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests annually by 2034.

Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Engineering in delivering Engineering strategy and objectives.
- Lead and develop Technical Services teams across the Ryanair Group.
- Ensure the continued airworthiness, reliability, and technical performance of the fleet.
- Champion the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Lead technical decision-making on significant engineering and operational challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement across all Technical Services disciplines.
- Support fleet growth, aircraft entry-into-service activities and major engineering projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, regulators, and key industry partners.
- Deliver strategic initiatives that improve fleet reliability, efficiency, and compliance.
Requirements
- Extensive experience within a Part CAMO, Part M and/or Part 145 environment.
- Strong knowledge of Technical Services, Continued Airworthiness and EASA regulations
- Proven leadership experience within a complex engineering organisation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, airworthiness requirements and aviation regulations.
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence desirable.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering organisational improvement.
- Ability to influence and operate effectively at senior management level.
- Strong stakeholder management experience with regulators, OEMs, and maintenance organisations.
- Excellent technical, commercial and communication skills.
