Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Deputy Director of Safety & Safety Manager (ORO.GEN.200) to join Europe’s largest airline group.
This is an excellent time to join as we look to grow to 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 8 years.
Based in our Global HQ in Dublin, this is an exciting role to work with our senior management team to ensure the continued safety of the Ryanair operation. Reporting to our Chief Risk Officer and Director of Safety & Security you will maintain and seek to
continuously develop and improve the Ryanair Safety Management System.
Your duties will include:
- Be the Company Safety Manager as required by ORO GEN.200.
- Be the Operational Flight Data Monitoring Programme Manager as required by ORO.GEN.200.
- Maintain and seek to continuously develop and improve the Safety Management System.
- Manage a Team of experienced professionals in the Ryanair Safety Services Office.
- Ensure that robust processes are in place for effective safety communication throughout Ryanair.
- Be the focal point for Regulatory Authorities for Safety Management System matters
Requirements
Requirements:
- Hold or previously held an ATPL with experience operating in a large commercial flying operation.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management position within an airline/aviation company.
- Knowledge of flight operations and aviation security requirements in addition to broad technical knowledge
- A highly motivated individual with a strong sense of responsibility, disciplined outlook and demonstrated capacity for hard work.
- Ability to take the initiative, work to deadlines and the ability to respond appropriately in challenging situations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, written, multi-tasking and analytical skills.
- Extensive knowledge of safety management systems and aviation regulations.
