Ryanair are currently recruiting for a CS Legal Performance Coordinator to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

This role is to support Ryanair’s Customer Service Legal department by managing key administrative tasks and projects that will enable our team to operate more efficiently and effectively as Ryanair embarks on this decade of growth to 300M customers by 2034. The successful candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously without the need for micromanagement

Responsibilities;

  • Support with the reconciliation of invoices from CS Legal vendors, scrutinising €20M legal spend budget including €5M in off-scope charges
  • Review of reports from external legal partners, and support with preparation of monthly and quarterly summaries for the business
  • Participate in commercial negotiations with external legal partners to gain insight into vendor management
  • Make minor updates to Zendesk for CS Legal workflows to improve efficiency/remove bottlenecks
  • Maintain and update Confluence with relevant CS Legal documentation for governance
  • Support with high-value litigation, including the review and analysis of large data sets, e.g. OTA settlement negotiations, or class actions
  • Support the CS Legal Performance Manager with Data insights, including liaising with BI, and CS Data team
  • Identify and action efficiency improvements across the CS Legal operation, including Kestrel (Legal Evidence Automation, Legal CMS)
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our workflows and contribute to the development of a CS Legal tracker to effectively showcase and educate the business on the work of CS Legal, especially of CS Lawyers which can be difficult to quantify
  • Gather legal evidence for use by internal and external teams to defend legal claims
  • Review draft defences submitted by external lawyers for specific cases to ensure they effectively utilise our evidence folder and include all necessary documentation; highlight and propose solutions to address barriers to success
  • Support with Irish litigation, including liaising with the Operations department to coordinate witnesses and schedule hearing dates/times
  • Contribute to the preparation of internal/external publications such as the CS Legal Newsletter, which includes updates relevant to stakeholders, e.g. new CJEU case law, specific jurisdiction positive decisions
  • Support with the preparation of other CS Legal communications materials, e.g. Powerpoint Presentations, Memos
  • In collaboration with CS Legal Disruptions team, arrange meetings with external lawyers to deepen their understanding of legal evidence and how best to analyse documents stored in our legal evidence folders
  • Conduct legal research on specific queries or challenges as they arise
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the CS Legal team

Requirements

Requirements

  • Background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with the ability to understand financial records, billing processes, and cost-related analysis.
  • Experience in a support or administrative role, preferably within a legal or customer service environment.
  • A background in EU261 case-handling and law would be an advantage.
  • Experience with RYANAIR systems would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly, show initiative, and cope with a large and varied workload while complying with tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional planning, record-keeping, and communication skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). Additional European languages would be highly regarded.
