We are currently looking for a Appearance Planning Engineer to join our team at Stansted Airport working Monday – Friday office hours!

About the Appearance Department

The Appearance Department is responsible for the overall presentation of the Ryanair fleet — from cabin cleanliness to landing gear washes. We manage and audit a network of service providers, ensuring they consistently meet both our operational benchmarks and the expectations of our passengers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • The daily planning and coordination of subcontracted maintenance activities for the Appearance Department
  • The maintenance and development of planning systems and processes for the control all Appearance activities
  • Maintaining sufficient oversight of subcontracted appearance providers’ workload in accordance with their production capacity
  • Maintaining strong and clear communications with the primary CAMO planning department for all planned appearance activities
  • Proposing changes to departmental documentation related to the planning of Appearance services (i.e. procedures, manuals)
  • Liaising with maintenance coordinators and appearance providers to ensure appearance activities are completed on schedule
  • Arranging logistics and travel arrangements for staff, equipment and materials
  • Compiling service level reports and performance reports on a regular basis
  • Pre-authorisation and recording of invoices for budget purposes
  • Appearance/Engineering projects as specified by the Appearance Manager
  • All other duties deemed necessary by the Appearance Manager

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Microsoft Office Proven Excel skills required
  • Spreadsheet/Smartsheet proven skills required
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to travel unrestricted within the EU
  • Right to work and live in the UK
  • Proven record of working to deadlines
  • Flexible approach to working in fast changing environment
  • Excellent spoken & written English is essential
  • Ability to meet the criteria to hold an airside pass to work in restricted areas
  • All candidates should be self-motivated, flexible and dynamic with good communication skills.
  • Experience using Maintenance software “AMOS” desirable but not essential
  • Experience in aircraft operations/engineering desirable but not essential
