Ryanair Labs are currently recruiting for an Android Developer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and ship advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Developing high-quality, testable, and cutting edge apps using Agile work practices.
  • Driving best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm.
  • Supporting analysts and business stakeholders in shaping, estimating, and planning new requirements.
  • Participating in regular showcases of new work to the product owners and business stakeholders.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements

  • 3 + years of professional Android development experience.
  • Deep familiarity with Kotlin and Android Framework.
  • Experience with Coroutines, Flow and Compose.
  • Experience with Dependency Injection and MVVM/MVI architecture.
  • Experience in working with a CI/CD and GIT.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with RxJava.
  • Familiarity with Unit Testing.
  • Proficiency in BitBucket, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Have published one or more Android apps in Google Play.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
