Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Non-Fare Revenue Analyst to join our Yield Department. This position will be based at Ryanair’s Head Office in Airside Business Park in Swords.

Using excellent analytical skills, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising revenue across Ryanair’s portfolio of Ancillary products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue management and experience taking decisions to improve revenue performance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing Ryanair’s booking flow and e-commerce strategy and contribute to a number of other non-fare revenue projects. The successful candidate will be confident in analysing data, thinking critically and executing data-driven commercial decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ancillary Revenue

  • Define and implement the optimal ancillary revenue strategy for the department across different products, different route groups and different times of year.
  • In-depth analysis of ancillary revenue trends and amending strategy in response to emerging trends.
  • Design and execute A/B pricing tests to determine the optimal strategy.
  • Work closely with Labs and Finance to improve ancillary pricing models.
  • Responsible for achieving ancillary budgets.
  • Work with Commercial Analytics and Labs to improve reporting of ancillary products and build visualisation tools.
  • Work with Labs and Digital to promote conversion of ancillary products.
  • Budgeting and forecasting ancillary performance.
  • Evaluate the potential of and make the business case for potential new ancillary products and their pricing.

Booking Flow and e-commerce

  • In-depth analysis and understanding of the booking flow and how it impacts volumes.
  • Work with Labs and Digital to increase booking flow conversion and maximise revenue.
  • Design and execute A/B tests on the booking flow to determine the optimal strategy.
  • Work with cross departmental groups on e-commerce projects around shopping basket, booking flow, product placement etc.

Distribution

  • Define and implement the optimal distribution strategy for the department, including third-party booking channels, GDS and groups bookings.
  • In-depth analysis of third-party bookings and revenue performance and trends.
  • In-depth analysis of ancillary variations (both conversion and revenue) between direct and indirect bookings.
  • In-depth analysis of bookings and revenue from Groups; implement strategies to improve.

Other

  • Budgeting and forecasting revenue performance for above items.
  • Develop short, medium and long term strategies to deliver value for the company.
  • Primary analytical point of contact for non-fare revenue in the Commercial Dept.
  • Daily and weekly reporting on KPIs.
  • Generate detailed analysis for Senior Management.
  • Monitor competitors’ ancillary pricing to ensure our total basket pricing remains competitive.
  • Previous experience in Revenue management and optimisation
  • Good analytical skills with previous experience in Data Analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel to an advanced level, and experience with SQL is a plus.
