Changes to our Application Process.

Description

Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Part 147 Training Lead to join the Engineering Training department. Within this job role, We are looking for someone who has prior working knowledge within Part 147 training and will promote training and be an ambassador to support the highest standards that we already maintain to the company.

 

The successful person will be responsible for ensuring:

  • Be able to hold nomination of Examinations Manager by national authorities, responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring full control of all examinations including, creation, validation and execution.
  • Ensuring high level security and access control measures are in place for all question banks relevant to all types held by the organisation
  • Assigning relevant examiners to conduct review and authentication prior to commencement of an examination and post remedial actions are carried out accordingly.

 

  • Ensuring the compliance of all approved training and examination with the requirements of the MTOE and PART-147, including corrective action of negative findings from the independent audit system.
  • Preparing and updating maintenance training course schedules and instructor schedules. Ensuring sufficient qualified staff and adequate facilities, equipment and materials are available to perform the range of training and examinations/assessments undertaken.
  • Maintaining the MTOE to the requirements of EASA PART-147 and ensuring all changes to the Exposition and associated manuals are notified immediately to EASA.
  • Ensuring all nominated staff are fully trained and assessed regularly for competence and that all records pertaining to these personnel are kept up to date.
  • Developing and maintaining training programs to meet the requirements of Ryanair Engineering operations.

 

Requirements

We are looking for someone to join our team that can meet the following:

  • Must hold at least 3+ years of experience in a Part 147 training environment
  • Must Hold UK/EASA Part 66 Licence or Aerospace Engineering degree or have evidence 3+ years of previous employment in Part 147 aircraft technical training.
  • Must have experience in aircraft engineering and working physically on aircraft.
  • Visa Applicants welcome if the above experience requirements are met
  • Experience in reviewing regulations/compliance base procedures
  • A keen eye to detail and ability to escalate issues to the management team
  • Ability to plan and work to deadlines laid out by the management teams
  • Good working knowledge of IT Systems and keen to learn new programs/software tools to enhance working ways
  • Ability to scrutinise and supply constructive critique where non-compliance may be found to the management team
  • Be an effective communicator and interact with the team through all types of communication (verbal, face-to face, virtual)
  • Applicants must be open minded, eager to learn new skills and bring new ideas to the team
  • Must have a strong work ethic and show responsibility to their own work and completion in a timely manner
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to change quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to seek and find solutions and address them to the management team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
