JC Aircraft Maintenance is currently recruiting a Licenced B1 experienced Sheet Metal worker to join our highly skilled team in Porto, Portugal. The successful candidate will be working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair.
At the facility in Porto (Portugal) we are responsible for conducting extensive line maintenance checks on Ryanair’s fleet of Boeing 737-800 / 8200 aircrafts.

Role:
Aircraft body structure and parts repairs on Ryanair fleet aircraft, in according with the approved maintenance data and procedures;
Performing metal assembling operations such as cutting, filling, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting and bucking work;
Working with, amongst others, relevant equipment – Bending machines, English Wheel, Flap Peening, Drill or Grinder as usual working tools;
To find the most suitable repair solutions and respective implementation in according to the Maintenance Repair Manuals;
Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
Complete the appropriate documentation
Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to
Supervise Mechanics within a team
Any other duties as assigned by management/supervisor
Requirements
Experience of Sheet Metal Work and Structural Repair
Previous experiences in composite repair and work is will be a plus
Knowledge of technical drawing;
Must be an EASA Part 66 qualified B1 License holder with 737NG Type Course endorsed.
2 – 3 years certifying experience, preferably line maintenance based
A valid EU/EEA passport with the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union.
Excellent spoken and written English is essential
Previous experience supervising/managing a team
Proven organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexible approach to working in a fast changing environment
Previous maintenance experience on B737 is highly desirable
Willing to work shifts (including nights)
