Lauda Europe is a Maltese Airline part of the Ryanair Group, which offers wet-lease and charter services. We now seek an HR Officer who will be based in our Schwechat (Vienna, Austria) support office, travelling regularly to our operational bases across Europe.
The successful candidate will be dealing with a broad range of HR topics and administration, from drafting contracts, holding base visits with our crew and all the stuff in between. At Lauda you will gain vast experience very early in your career as you are entrusted and expected to act like a HR Manager for the 500+ employees under your remit to make daily decisions, offer advice and resolve all employee relations matters that arise.
• Supporting HR function for employees in your given base.
• Monitoring employee absence and turnover.
• Contract, payroll, and administration, etc.
• Liaising, supporting, and advising management at all levels across the business on all HR related matters
• Maintain HR databases (incl. SAP) to ensure all files and the HR systems are up to date and accurate.
• Weekly reporting to the HR Manager on all HR matters in your area.
• Good knowledge of business and HR models to answer daily employee queries and make informed decisions.
• Working on ad hoc projects as and when they arise.
• Travelling across Europe to meet with employees on general employment matters.

• HR / Business degree is a benefit, but not required.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (C1+ or native speaker).
• Strong organisational & interpersonal skills.
• The ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work on own initiative.
• Flexibility and availability to travel.
• PC Skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Power point etc).
• And finally, you must be a team player with a good sense of humour!
