Ryanair Labs are currently recruiting for a Junior QA Engineer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.

The Role

  • Work with Team Leads to execute test cases for Software Under Test (SUT)
  • Record test results in the Test Rail system
  • Log issues found with SUT in the Jira Issue tracking system
  • Work with agile team members to triage and debug issues found
  • Attend Agile (Scrum or Kanban) meetings – contribute as appropriate
  • Identify and suggest updates to test cases where inaccuracies might occur

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
  • Keen interest and be up to date with the latest technologies and developments in the software industry
  • Desire to learn and work with cutting edge technologies and solutions within a high performing team
  • Knowledge of networking protocols

Ideal Candidates should be able to demonstrate

  • Enthusiasm for learning new skills and adapting quickly to new technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to take direction and to be able to think beyond the current set of tasks in order to effectively and fully exercise any application under test
  • Good problem definition and analysis skills as well as an ability to present issues in a way that the development team can interpret to create solutions
