Description
Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Tax Analyst to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group.
This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million passengers within the next 10 years.
As a Tax Analyst you will be working in a close knit team to provide advice on tax obligations and consequences to wider business transactions, while assisting with audits and coordinating 3rd part vendors
Main responsibilities
- Assist with direct and indirect tax compliance in various jurisdictions including coordination of the preparation of the corporate tax/VAT returns with external advisers and managing relevant tax payments.
- Preparation and review of monthly tax computations and quarterly tax provisioning under IFRS.
- Assisting with the maintenance of Group transfer pricing policy.
- Assisting with the implementation of taxation strategy across the Group.
- Review of contracts with third party vendors and business partners.
- Liaising with external advisors, revenue authorities and auditors on various direct and indirect tax matters.
- Collaborating with internal finance team for the completion of statutory financial statements.
- Work with the treasury/banking department and assist with cash movements, including distributions, loans and cash flow activities.
- Ad-hoc duties
Requirements
- An accounting and/or tax qualification is preferable or a person currently pursuing such a qualification.
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills are essential.
- High degree of initiative, strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills.
