Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Site Leader to join the Engineering Training department. Within this job role, we are looking for someone who will support the training manager and provide site level leadership to ensure all training courses are carried out to highest standards that we already maintain to the company.

The successful person will be responsible for ensuring:

    • Support the RYR Group Base Training manager in managing the local training programmes for WAMs Facilities.
    • Manage the local team of Technical Training Instructors and coordinator to ensure demand is supported in a structured and timely manner.
    • Ensuring all Technical Training is prepared and delivered in compliance with EASA Part-145 and EASA Part-147 regulations, where applicable.
    • Provide oversight, liaison, and support of apprentices & JAE’s.
    • Develop instructor materials (course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional materials, and training aids) at the request of the training manager.
    • Management of the local training records and communicate all training expiries to the management teams.
    • Fully able to maintain and develop the local training centre for further learning enhancements across all levels of training.

Requirements

We are looking for someone to join our team that has experience in a supervisory or management role. We want the successful candidate to be keen to learn, provide new ideas to the training team and interact openly to the wider network. You must also be a great communicator as you will be working with different nationalities, diversities and ages! We are looking for someone to join the team who is meticulous, has a good attitude and most important is a fun, positive and open-minded person! The below details the requirements further:

  • Nice to have a degree in management/aviation and have evidence of previous employment in a supervisory or management role.
  • Good knowledge of English (min. B2+ level).
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365, and keen to learn new programs/software tools to enhance working ways.
  • Must hold a valid EU passport or be ready to have one and be available to travel where the business requires.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to build and deliver the most effective training programmes to meet the above-mentioned training requirements.
  • Be an effective communicator and interact with the team through all types of communication (verbal, face-to face, virtual).
  • Must have a strong work ethic and show responsibility to their own work and completion in a timely manner, be flexible and able to adapt to change quickly.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, plan and work to deadlines laid out by the management teams and to seek and find solutions and address them to the management team.
