Description

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Senior Investigator to join our Safety Office with focus on Engineering of Europe’s largest airline group. 

This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 10 years.

Reporting directly to the Safety Manager-Engineering, the principle role is to investigate occurrences on the direction of the SSO and NPCA and will play a key part in ensuring the continued 39+ year safety record of the Ryanair fleet.

Senior Investigators will be based in our group Safety office based at our Dublin HQ. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Investigation of occurrences and aircraft incidents raised through the reporting system;
  • Conducting formal Engineering Investigations including interviews with engineering personnel and visiting facilities as required in the gathering of information;
  • Assisting and overseeing all Engineering Investigations conducted by trained investigators throughout the network;
  • Preparing Investigation reports and Safety Recommendations;
  • Identifying and analysing safety trends arising from Engineering Investigations;
  • Assistance in administration of the safety occurrences reporting and Investigation system – Coruson
  • Participating in Safety Promotion utilising lessons learnt from reports and investigations..

Requirements

  • Relevant engineering /aviation degree or EASA part 66 modules, Aviation engineering experience (Line or CAMO)
  • Line Maintenance experience an advantage
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to work under pressure
