Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Lead Materials Support Engineer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.

 

Reporting to the Materials Manager you will act as the focal point for our day to day supply chain. This is a Senior role responsible for maintaining oversight and management of a small team.

As Materials Support Engineer Lead you will

  •  Provide support to the Wheel and Brake distribution function and Rotable Life limited parts replacement program.
  • Monitor and resolve regular supply chain bottlenecks resulting in parts being in inaccessible locations such as Repair admin, Hangar and transfer Reports.
  • Liaise with Line Maintenance to ensure smooth operation of our internal supply chain.
  • Assist with priority part re-distribution and consolidation of stock reallocation per our station parts alert program.
  • Assist the with annual Review of the effectiveness of or supply chain..

Requirements

  • Relevant engineering qualification or aircraft maintenance technician qualification or 5 years relevant work experience in similar role.
  • The successful person will be able to drive efficiency improvements to our internal materials supply chain.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to operate at the highest level within Ryanair’s Engineering organization.
  • You will have a proven successful track record in an aircraft engineering/materials organization and will be able to demonstrate exceptional technical, commercial and organizational skills.
