Opportunity for Growth
We have an opportunity for an Engineering Tooling Coordinator to join our growing team in Hahn, Germany. Reporting to the Base Maintenance Manager while also having a secondary reporting line to the Engineering Tooling Manager the successful candidate will play an essential part in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

·       Managing the logistics and maintaining overall control of tooling across PAMG

·       Manage the tooling stock requirements and levels within PAMG

·       Working closely with Line Maintenance Tooling team, the Engineering Tooling Coordinator will ensure tooling is serviceable, calibrated, and ready to be used by the Engineering teams

·       Managing the movement of tooling within the network to guarantee a well-organised and efficient operation

·       Follow up on open repair orders with the company’s approved repair and calibration vendors

·       Assist in proposing and setting up new vendors with additional capabilities

·       Influence and justify new tooling purchases based on the requirements of the facility


·       A strong mechanical aptitude with a background in tooling is desirable

·       Familiarity with inventory control/logistics is advantageous

·       Demonstrate exceptional organisation skills and the capability to manage a diverse range of responsibilities within a fast-paced environment

·       Ability to work independently with a sound sense of judgement

·       Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders

·       High standard of computer literacy and skilled mathematical abilities

·       A strong understanding of Quality systems and why they are needed

·       Good knowledge of English (written and oral) / German would be an advantage

o   the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union

o   German security clearance according to § 7 of German Aviation Security Act

o   EU driver’s license
