Ryanair are currently recruiting for an Assistant Station Controller to join Europe’s largest airline.
Duties will include:
Sending prompt and accurate SITA messages regarding aircraft departure times, arrival times, delays and load information
Monitoring inbound messages and ensuring that all relevant information is passed on to the appropriate parties
Managing stand allocation on per shift basis ensuring that Ryanair receives preferred stands and towing operations are minimised.
Liaising with other Ryanair departments regarding stand allocation, punctuality and other issues with our flights/aircraft.
Liaising with all ancillary agencies to ensure the punctual departure of all aircraft
Ensuring relevant passengers services are booked for passengers who have prebooked assistance only.
Ensuring all airport information screens display correct information at all times.
Updating AOMIS system with all relevant information
Maintaining a record of our overnight stand allocation.
Assisting with other ground operations/flight operations duties, as required
Due to the nature of our operation, working irregular hours is a condition of your employment. You must be prepared to work shifts, including night and day duties, and additional hours when required. Shift times and patterns may be changed, subject to operational requirements.
Requirements
Detailed knowledge of all Ryanair Ground Operations procedures, is an advantage
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent organisational skills
Windows Literate (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
