Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM) Ireland Ltd is Ryanair’s first heavy maintenance facility in Ireland. Established in May 2022 the company supports the maintenance of Ryanair’s growing Boeing 737 NG and MAX fleet and is located in a 3-bay hangar in Shannon, Co. Clare. The facility employs highly skilled aircraft engineers, mechanics, and support staff.
The Opportunity:
PAM Ire Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Structures Mechanic in our facility in Shannon. Reporting to the Check/Zone Supervisor the successful candidate will join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of 600+ aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the completion of routine and non-routine aircraft structural tasks.
Ensure all aircraft documentation is accurately completed and certified in compliance with the MOE and company procedures.
Maintain awareness and ensure best practices are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors.
Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Adherence to all company procedures, regulations, and safe working practices.
Perform any additional tasks reasonably assigned by the Check/Zone Supervisor.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
A strong knowledge of all aspects of aircraft sheet metal repair.
Previous MRO component or aircraft sheet metal experience, preferably with Boeing Aircraft.
Self motivated, with the ability to work in a clear, concise, and logical manner.
Must be flexible, including availability to work overtime as required.
Ability and readiness to train non-skilled personnel.
Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
Adaptable to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and similar applications.
This position requires shift work, including night shifts.
